πDePIN Data
DecentraLink 2.0, the next step in our developmental journey, is focused on DePIN Data. This includes data collected from various sensors that can be used in smart contracts, such as meteorological and geographical location data. This expansion of our data streams will enable more diverse and sophisticated applications, furthering our mission to revolutionize the interaction between real-world data and blockchain technology.
Peer-to-peer data exchanges are a DePINβs lifeblood, whether itβs about booking car-sharing vehicles or collecting noise pollution data. In Web3, trustless data verification and data exchange are the major challenges β and DecentraLink 2.0 offers projects a comprehensive and powerful tool for solving this problem. DecentraLink 2.0 is designed to be a DePIN-oriented IoT oracle.
DecentraLink 2.0 caters to a common requirement of DePIN projects and addresses several key areas:
β Verified machine identities: Vehicles, machines, robots and devices which exist on these platforms are only visible and accessible to other machines on the same centralized platform.DecentraLink developed a DID function specialized for machines, supporting the application to Know Your Device to verify how much physical work is performed by which DePIN unit.
β Decentralized oracle nodes: DecentraLink 2.0 Oracle operates as a decentralized oracle. Nodes, operated by a variety of entities, form oracle networks. These networks relay data to smart contracts through reports. DecentraLink 2.0 Oracle can help DePIN projects to enter the market quickly and securely.
β Active data feeding: DecentraLink 2.0 primarily operates in an active feeding mode. This mirrors the typical behavior of most IoT devices, which actively send data to the backend, either periodically or triggered by an event. Additionally, depending on the network topology (for example, LoRa network) and power-saving strategy, some IoT devices can only receive downlink when they have just transmitted uplink data.
β Multiple blockchain adaptation: A flourishing DePIN ecosystem should encompass many dApps running on different blockchains. As an infrastructure for infrastructures, DecentraLink 2.0 Oracle increases its adaptability by introducing customizable dApp Connectors on the Oracle node. This allows a DePIN project to tailor its blockchain and smart contract.
